Media Wall Installation Across Yorkshire

Yorkshire is our largest coverage area outside Greater Manchester, spanning Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Doncaster, Harrogate, Ripon, York, and Hull.

West Yorkshire's cities, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, and Huddersfield, share a strong stone-built terrace and back-to-back housing tradition, often with smaller room footprints than we see in Greater Manchester's brick terraces, which we design around carefully to make the most of the available wall space. South Yorkshire's Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, and Doncaster have a similar mix of Victorian terraces and inter-war semis, alongside a good deal of new-build housing where a freestanding media wall on a plain wall is the standard approach.

York and Harrogate bring a more affluent, period-property brief, Georgian townhouses and larger Victorian villas where full-height slatted wood walls and marble-effect fireplace builds with integrated shelving are popular, similar in spirit to what we build in Cheshire's market towns. Ripon's smaller scale means most of our work there is fireplace media walls in period cottages and townhouses. Hull, further east, has its own mix of Victorian terraces and post-war housing, and we take on projects there on the same scheduled route-day basis as the rest of Yorkshire.

Yorkshire's stone terraces and back-to-backs, particularly across Leeds, Bradford, and Halifax, often have narrower chimney breasts and different proportions to the brick terraces we are used to nearer Manchester, so we measure carefully rather than assuming a standard layout will fit.

In York and Harrogate's larger period properties, we take the same approach we use in Cheshire's affluent villages: a full home visit, a design built around the specific room, and premium materials and lighting where the property calls for it.
