Media Wall Installation in Bradford

Bradford's wool trade history has left it with an unusually grand stock of Victorian architecture, from large merchant villas to dense back-to-back terraces, spread across a wide area that includes the more affluent stone-built villages of Bingley, Baildon, and Shipley, as well as Wyke, Idle, and Thornbury closer to the city.

In Bingley, Baildon, and Shipley, stone-built terraces and larger villas are common, and here we regularly build fireplace media walls that work with existing stone fireplaces and deep original recesses, similar to the character we see in Saddleworth.

Wyke, Idle, and Thornbury bring a mix of Victorian terraces and inter-war semis closer to the city centre, where both fireplace and freestanding media wall designs are common, depending on whether the original chimney breast survives.

Bradford city centre has seen significant regeneration in recent years, and we see a growing number of apartment and townhouse projects here requiring more compact designs. Bradford is around 55 minutes to 1 hour from our Manchester base, and we visit as part of our scheduled Yorkshire route.

Bradford's stone-built villages and denser Victorian terraces need genuinely different design approaches, and we bring the same care to a Bingley stone fireplace as we would to a Wyke terrace, adjusting materials to suit each.
