Media Wall Installation Across Lancashire

Lancashire covers some of our widest geographic reach, from Preston and the old mill towns of Blackburn and Burnley to the seafront properties of Blackpool and Lancaster's historic core, plus Southport just across the county boundary in the north-west corner of Merseyside's commuter belt.

Preston and the surrounding mill towns of Blackburn and Burnley share a lot of Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing, similar in character to inner Manchester, where fireplace media walls built into an existing chimney breast are the most requested job. Stone-built terraces and cottages, particularly around Burnley and the Ribble Valley fringes, often have deeper chimney breasts and different wall construction than we see nearer Manchester, which we account for at the design stage.

Blackpool and Lancaster bring more of a coastal and historic-town mix, from Victorian seafront terraces to newer housing further inland, and we see a steady mix of fireplace builds and simpler TV mounting jobs depending on the property. Southport's Victorian and Edwardian terraces, closer in style to parts of Liverpool, again lend themselves well to fireplace media walls that respect the property's original proportions.
